Made a second quilt with embrodiery!

Truly Scrumptious in lovely colors and nice sewing. 

Just begun the quilting...

Here is the quilting done and then the crosshatches are waiting to come ontop of the embroidery.

Edyta Sitar Triangle Exchange

I watch The quiltshow.com and I really like it! I get a lot of inspirations from the guests. But one person that got me going was Edyta Sitar. Have a look at her wonderful quilts and books, www.laundrybasket.com She had this triangles exchange. I wanted to do one aswell... So I ordered the triangle paper and just like that I had 35 persons that wanted to come along ! When I got all the triangles I had 10 901 triangles to swap....;-) Puhhh!

We had some busy hours counting...we put all of them in a big basket and tried to make as good mix as possible.

I have challenged the people to have something done by the end of april 2012...we´ll see if I can show something here.

Purple Quilt

This is so much fun! I got an email from a quilter that I haven´t seen in 8 years...She wanted me to quilt a big quilt for her. So I did! She and her husband came to visit to leave the quilttop, with their 2 lovely dogs. Got to meet our 2 dogs.

The front of the quilt is in purple and a lot of different fabrics and the back is just light green- She wanted purple thread on the back aswell and now she has a quilt that she can use both sides on. Have a look.

Generals Wife

A friend of mine is holding a class in Eskilstuna. During almost one year they will make this quilt called, Generals wife. This Quilt is one of the biggest I have done, its an all over feather pattern.
